After much premeditation on which puffer is the hottest for the winter season — and beyond, because I am shopping for my time capsule here, not just the next three months — I could not resist the Aritzia Super Chalet Puff in black liquid shine.

In less than 24 hours, I got my jacket in the mail and it is stunning.

The liquid shine material is silky smooth and adds a unique element that makes the classic fit elevated with a twist.

The coat's $325 price tag is well worth the money. The construction is high-quality and the filling is made for the cold Michigan months.

I could not resist, and I am extremely happy. I did not resist this puffer.

I will be pairing it with a rotation of black winter accessories, including faux fur mittens, a black cashmere knit beanie with a faux fur pom, a faux headband and faux fur earmuffs.

The jacket is so beautiful. I'm actually excited for it to get cold this year — specifically to have an excuse to wear the Aritzia Super Puff.
